Privacy Policy
StarCargos: Smart Moving ("the App") is designed around a simple principle: your move is your business, and your data should stay that way. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, how the App handles the information you enter — which is to say, it doesn't leave your device at all.
1. Information We Collect
We collect nothing. The App has no account creation, no sign-in, and no requirement to share your name, email address, phone number, or location. Everything you enter — box contents, room assignments, item dimensions and weights, packing timelines, checklist progress, and truck volume calculations — is created and stored exclusively on your own device.
2. How We Use Information
Because we never collect any information, we never use, analyze, aggregate, or sell it. There is no advertising profile built from your packing list, no behavioral tracking, and no data pipeline of any kind. Every calculation, from box counts to truck volume estimates, is performed entirely on-device.
3. Data Storage
All inventories, manifests, room tags, and preparation timelines are stored locally within the App's own storage on your phone or tablet. There is no cloud sync, no remote server, and no backup transmitted anywhere on your behalf. If your device is offline, the App works exactly the same.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. No external service ever receives your box lists, room plans, or timelines, because no such data ever leaves your device to begin with.
5. Data Security
Because your information never travels across a network or touches a server we control, the primary security boundary is your own device's built-in protections. We design the App to minimize any external interaction, keeping your relocation details as contained and private as possible.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. As no data collection occurs for any user, the App is inherently compliant with the spirit of COPPA and similar child-privacy protections.
7. Your Control
You are always in full control of your information. Since everything lives locally, deleting the App removes all associated data — box inventories, timelines, manifests, and checklists — completely and permanently. There are no hidden backups, no linked accounts, and nothing stored anywhere else to manage or revoke.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the App or changes in applicable guidelines. Any revision will include an updated Effective Date at the top of this page.
